Terms and Conditions – RECONNECT GmbH / neumuehle-home.de (as of: 2025)

1) Scope

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") of RECONNECT GmbH , trading under " neumuehle-home.de " (hereinafter "Seller"), apply to all contracts for the delivery of goods concluded by a consumer or entrepreneur (hereinafter "Customer") via the Seller's online shop.

1.2 Any differing terms and conditions of the customer shall not apply unless expressly agreed to in writing by the seller.

1.3 A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity.

1.4 An entrepreneur is any natural or legal person who, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity.

1.5 These terms and conditions also apply to the purchase of vouchers , unless expressly stipulated otherwise.

2) Conclusion of contract

2.1 The products displayed in the online shop do not constitute a binding offer ; they are merely an invitation to the customer to submit an offer.

2.2 By completing the order process via the integrated order form, the customer submits a binding purchase offer .

2.3 The seller can accept the offer within five days by:

  • Sending an order confirmation (email), or
  • Delivery of the goods, or
  • Payment request after order placement.

The contract comes into effect with the first occurrence of the event.

2.4 For certain payment methods (e.g. PayPal, Klarna, Stripe, Shopify Payments), the contract may be automatically accepted upon completion of the payment process .

2.5 The contract text will be sent by email after purchase. Customers with a user account can view their orders at any time.

2.6 Before submitting the order, the customer can change entries using correction functions.

2.7 The contract language is German .

2.8 The customer is obliged to use a valid email address and to ensure the receipt of messages (SPAM filter).

3) Right of withdrawal

3.1 Consumers have a right of withdrawal.

3.2 Details can be found in the seller's cancellation policy.

3.3 The right of withdrawal does not apply to customers outside the EU with a residential and delivery address outside the EU.

4) Prices and payment terms

4.1 The prices stated in the shop are final prices including VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately.

4.2 For deliveries outside the EU, additional fees (customs duties, bank charges, taxes) may apply, which will be borne by the customer.

4.3 Available payment methods are displayed in the shop (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, credit card, etc.).

4.4 In the case of advance payment, the invoice amount is due immediately.

4.5 Payments via PayPal are subject to the PayPal terms of use. PayPal may conduct credit checks.

4.6 Payments via Klarna (instant bank transfer etc.) are subject to Klarna's terms and conditions.

4.7 Stripe payments are processed via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.

5) Delivery and shipping conditions

5.1 Shipping will be to the delivery address specified by the customer.

5.2 If delivery fails due to reasons attributable to the customer, the customer shall bear the resulting costs. This does not apply to outbound shipping costs in the case of cancellation.

5.3 Transfer of risk:

  • Consumer: upon delivery to the customer
  • Entrepreneur: upon handover to the transport service provider

5.4 Dropshipping / External Warehouses Some goods are shipped via dropshipping partners / external fulfillment service providers . This may result in deliveries differing from one order to the next or separate shipments. The customer agrees that data will be transferred to these service providers for the purpose of processing the order.

5.5 Delivery Times Due to our business model (dropshipping), delivery times may vary. The delivery times stated in the shop are estimates.

5.6 Self-collection is not possible .

5.7 Vouchers will be provided exclusively digitally via email.

6) Retention of title The goods remain the property of the seller until full payment has been received.

7) Liability for Defects (Warranty) The statutory warranty rights apply. The following applies differently to businesses:

  • 1 year warranty on new goods
  • No warranty on used goods
  • Seller chooses the type of remedy
  • Section 377 of the German Commercial Code (duty to give notice of defects) applies.

The restrictions do not apply to:

  • Deceit
  • Injury to life, body, health
  • gross negligence
  • Product Liability Act

Consumers are asked to report any transport damage immediately; however, this is not mandatory .

8) Liability The statutory provisions regarding liability apply. The seller is liable without limitation in the case of:

  • Intentional or grossly negligent conduct
  • Injury to life, body, health
  • Product Liability Act

In cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages.

9) Processing according to customer specifications: If a product is manufactured according to customer specifications (e.g. personalization):

  • Customer must provide content lawfully.
  • The customer is liable for legal infringements by third parties (trademark rights, etc.).
  • Sellers may reject illegal content

10) Redemption of promotional vouchers. Remains unchanged in content from the original – adopted in full.

11) Redemption of gift vouchers remains unchanged from the original – fully adopted.

12) Applicable Law German law applies; in the case of consumers, the consumer protection regulations of the country of residence apply.

13) Alternative Dispute Resolution The seller is neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

14) Returns / Return costs (Supplement for your shop) 14.1 The customer bears the costs of returning the goods in the event of a cancellation.

14.2 Returns must be insured and accompanied by proof of shipment.

14.4 We cannot accept collect shipments.

15) Note on representations and colors (recommended for furnishing & home decor): Due to different screen settings, slight color variations may occur between the product image and the actual product. This does not constitute a defect.

16) Partial deliveries (due to dropshipping) The seller is entitled to make partial deliveries, provided this is reasonable for the customer (e.g., in the case of shipping by different fulfillment partners). The customer will not incur any additional costs as a result.
